CBP update on Ike port closures

The following ports are CLOSED for all CBP passenger, trade and cargo operations, according to a statement issued at 5.30 PM EST today.

Service Port of Houston (George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Air Cargo Office, Northbelt Office)

Port of Freeport, Texas (0800-1600)

Port of Point Comfort, Texas

Port of Corpus Christi, Texas

Port of Lake Charles, La.

Port of New Orleans, La.

Port of Gramercy, La.

Port of Shreveport, La.

Port of Morgan City, La.

Port of Pascagoula, Miss.

Port of Gulfport, Miss.

PRIVATE VESSELS

Private boaters arriving in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and Texas must continue to report by calling the nearest port of entry. Reports of arrival may be made at any of the following ports of entry. Upon report of arrival a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer will provide further instructions regarding designated reporting locations and entry processing. The boat must be made available for possible boarding at the time of the report.
