New Italian office expands MAN DIesel PrimeServ network

MAN Diesel Italia s.r.l. recently opened its doors.

At a ceremony in Genoa earlier thus month, Managing Director Marco Colombo gave guests a tour of the new offices.

MAN Diesel Italy is located within the port of Genoa and its offices include a training room and facilities for superintendent engineers and technicians.

With its proud maritime tradition and thriving port, Genoa was an obvious choice as a MAN Diesel location.

The new office's initial priorities are to offer service and training of the highest caliber so as to attract Italian clients as well as other, international customers trading in the region.

MAN Diesel Italy has already recruited key personnel.

Managing Director Marco Colombo, joined the company from Deutz Italy (IML), on January 1st of this year. He was subsequently joined by Fabian Lachenmair, a superintendent engineer specialised in four-stroke engines and biofuel technology, who transferred from MAN Diesel Augsburg in January. March saw the arrival of Roberta Ferretti, responsible for client support and back-office activities.

In addition, more superintendents will shortly arrive to boost the technical service that MAN Diesel Italy can offer the region and MAN Diesel Italy is already working towards establishing MAN Diesel PrimeServ in yet another local market.
