June 17, 2008 Clarkson PLC names Case CEOThe world's largest shipbroker, Clarkson PLC has confirmed that Andi Case has been named Chief Executive Officer. He had been serving as interim Chief Executive since the ouster of Richard Fulford-Smith at the end of April. Andi Case joined Clarksons in 2006, as Managing Director of Global Broking, from Braemar Seascope, and was previously with Eggar Forrester and CW Kellock. Tim Harris, Chairman of Clarkson PLC, commented: "Andi Case's long standing industry expertise will be invaluable in further developing Clarksons. The business has grown from strength to strength over the last five years and the Board is extremely pleased that Andi will lead the company through its next phase of development, as it looks to build on its heritage in broking and further grow the range of shipping services it offers to its clients around the world."
