Mr. Wegrzyn will have primary responsibility for operational, sales and strategic activities related to the Puerto Rico market. He has lived on the island of Puerto Rico for more than 30 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in New Haven, CT.

"Jacob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Puerto Rico market and will be a tremendous asset to our team," said Charles G. (Chuck) Raymond, Chairman, President and CEO of Horizon Lines, Inc., the liner operating company's parent group.

John Keenan said, "We are excited to bring Jacob aboard. His passion for serving the customer has earned him the respect of his peers, customers and partners. That dedication to service is a core value here at Horizon Lines."
