Yangzijiang books box ship orders

Singapore-listed Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd., based in China's eastern Jiangsu province, reports that during the third quarter of 2007 it secured shipbuilding contracts for thirteen container vessels totaling 182,349 cgt and with an aggregate contract value of US$409.7 million.

The company now has contracts in hand for 129 ships totaling 2.2 million cgt and worth a total $4,940 million.
