May 24, 2007 LNG carrier sold for scrap BW Gas has sold the LNG carrier Havfru (ex-Venator), 29,589 cu.m, built in 1973 for scrap. The vessel has been delivered to Indian buyers. The sales price is $6.3 million and BW Gas will book a net profit of about $2.3 million in the second quarter 2007.
