 April 26, 2007 Fjellstrand books PSV order Norway's Fjellstrand AS has entered into its third contract for an offshore service vessel. It is for construction of a Havyard 832 CD-design platform supply vessel for the Faroe Islands shipowner P/F Supply Service. The vessel is scheduled for delivery end 2008 and the contract includes an option for a further vessel . Fjellstrand AS is best known for high speed catamaran ferries, but has diversified its production and product line to include vessels for the offshore industry. The Havyard 832 CD is a medium-size PSV that offers bigger capacities than existing designs, has energy optimized diesel-electricpropulsion, and complies with "Clean Design" environmental regulations. The Havyard 832 CD is designed by Havyard Maritime in Fosnavag, Norway. Havyard will supply the vessel's hull to Fjellstrand.
