June 8, 2006 Jeffboat to add jobs Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is scheduled to visit Jeffersonville, Ind. today where he will make an announcement at Jeffboat, LLC, a subsidiary of American Commercial Lines. Workers at the barge builder were hanging bunting on the fence yesterday and local press speculation is that the governor will announce a major economic development that could see Jeffboat add more than 1,000 jobs.
