February 6, 2006 Alaska tanker refloated
The tanker Seabulk Pride arrived safely in Kachemak Bay Alaska, at about 5:30 p.m., Friday, February 3. The vessel had been grounded a half a mile north of Kenai Pipeline Dock in Nikiski today after it broke free from its moorings at 5:25 a.m, February 2. A Coast Guard report issued February 4 said that the vessel was anchored and that inspection work continued with a team of divers.
