VT Halter Marine parent eyes Brazil

Singapore's ST Engineering may see opportunities in Brazil for its U.S. shipyard operation, VT Halter Marine?

According to a Singapore Stock Exchange announcement, ST Engineering's U.S. company, Vision Technologies Systems, Inc. (VT Systems), has set up a Delaware corporation that will control VT Systems Ltda, an operating company to explore opportunities in Brazil and the Latin American region for the Group's businesses,including in the marine sector. VT Systems' marine arm is VT Halter Marine.

VT Systems Ltda. will be located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
