European owner reschedules deliveries from COSCO Zhoushan

China's COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., Ltd. reported on Friday that it had delivered a 57,000 dwt bulk carrier to a subsidiary of China COSCO Holdings Company Ltd. But it also said it had recently agreed to requests from a European shipowner, to reschedule the delivery dates of four other 57,000 dwt bulk carriers. The shipbuilder said deliveries will now take place between eighteen and nineteen months after their original planned delivery dates, with the final ship being ddlivered by March 2012 instead of September 2010.
