August 17, 2009 Russian Navy finds Arctic SeaThe Russian Navy has found the missing cargo ship Arctic Sea (SEE EARLIER REPORT). According to Russian state-controlled news services it was 300 miles off the Cape Verde islands, as had been reported Friday. The ship was located at 09.00 GMT today. The crew have been transferred to the frigate Ladny and according to Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov "they are being interrogated to find out what happened" and are "safe and sound and not under armed guard."
