Wartsila names VP Sales

Carl-Henrik Bjork has been appointed Vice President, Sales, in Wartsila's Ship Power business as of September 1, 2004. He heads the Ship Power world-wide sales organisation with Sales Directors reporting to him.

Bjork, who is a marine engineer and is based in Trieste. Italy, continues heading Marketing and Business Intelligence as well as Wartsila Italy's Ship Power unit. He reports to Mr Mikael Makinen, Group Vice President, Ship Power.

Bjork has been working for Wartsila since 1974.
